Sustainability

Sustainability is a wide ranging term that can be applied to human activity impacting the earth's biosphere and eco-systems, be it agriculture, consumption of energy, food or natural resources, fashion, manufacturing, technology, transportation, tourism, travel, & so on. Permaculture co-inventor Bill Mollision used it on the back cover of his 1978 classic book "Permaculture One" describing it as "revolutionary approach to agriculture to make a safe and sustainable resource for city and country". Wellemart carries most available books on permaculture written by other authors.
